Welcome to Classic Rowboat Co. We are located near Sandpoint, in beautiful Northern Idaho. Spawned by masterful builders over three decades ago, we combine passion and attention to detail to produce rowing boats known for their unmatched quality and appearance. Our objective is to offer timeless rowing boats or the finest design to be used and enjoyed by all generations of boating enthusiasts. Rowing is a fun and enjoyable activity for all ages and can develop into a heathy, lifelong passion, as so many people have discovered. Rowing these boats is an experience that rejuvenates the body, mind, and senses, while connecting you with family and friends. Many people have questions when deciding which type of rowing boat is best suited to their needs. These questions are welcome. You will find us to be knowledgeable and personable about the rowing boats that we build, as well as many other models, both traditional and non-traditional.

Currently we build 3 models of rowing boats. The 11' 6" Herreshoff Columbia, the 16' 2" Boston Whitehall, and the 14'8" wooden McKenzie River Drift Boat. All of these boats represent the best of American design. We think you will agree. Experience the difference a true rowing boat has to offer.
